• Nickname : we collect and store your nickname only when you provide it, in order to save your scores, a game save or to create a gaming account

• Advertising and Navigation Tracking: We do not conduct advertising tracking, nor track your browsing history
• Data Session: We do not transfer, sell, nor delegate any of your data to third parties

Justification for data collection and technical purposes:

• Cookies: Maintaining your session while navigating from one page to another by placing a session token (cookie) on your computer (web browser). This token placement is technically necessary but does not contain, nor link to any personal data. The session token has a validity period of 1 month
• Email: Optional collection initiated by you only. Your email is used solely for the purpose for which you provided it (sending newsletters). Your email is automatically deleted two years after your registration or last update
• Nickname: Optional collection initiated by you only. Your nickname is only used for the purposes for which you have provided it to us (displaying your scores, creating an account, saving game sessions, etc.). We retain your nickname for different durations depending on the following purposes:
  • recording and displaying scores: your nickname is necessary to display your score when you want it to be recorded and displayed with other scores. Your nickname is automatically erased when all scores of a game are reset, after a few days or months depending on the game
  • recording game sessions: your nickname is necessary to identify the sessions you have saved but is not publicly displayed. Your nickname is automatically erased with all game session data after a period ranging from a few months to two years, depending on the game
  • user account: your nickname is necessary for managing and logging into your game account. Your nickname and associated game account are automatically erased after two years of inactivity following your last login
• Automatic Data Collection: Not applicable
• Advertising and Navigation Tracking: Not applicable
• Data Session: The collected data is not communicated to any third parties, and its use is exclusively reserved for the data controller identified above

You can access your data, rectify it, request its deletion, or exercise your right to limit the processing of your data by sending a request to gdpr@nio@eu.comcodeux.com. Visit the site cnil.fr for more information about your rights.

If you believe, after contacting us, that your “Personal Data Protection” rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL at this address.

Our Commitment

Most websites and companies use and exploit your personal data, claiming it is their priority. That’s good. That’s nice. You have the right to believe it.

At nicodeux.com, your personal data is not our priority. We don’t care about your personal data. And for very simple reasons: we don’t resell it to other companies, we don’t profile you, we don’t target ads, and we don’t try to understand your browsing behaviour to manipulate you into clicking here or there (by making you afraid of missing a promotion or the last item in stock, for example).

In short! If your personal data is not our priority, it’s because we don’t use it! \(^_^)/

But the little we must collect to make the site work, we take care of it and delete it as soon as possible. And we commit to keeping it that way because here, we believe the Internet should be a zone of trust, escape, and knowledge, not a lawless wild west of mistrust and uncontrolled commerce.
